Military Training
by Keith Pascal
When you think military, do you imagine an elite force of soldiers who are expertly trained in hand-to-hand combat and martial arts?
Do you imagine skilled martial artists?
Unfortunately, military training doesn't often lead to unarmed combat competence. Several of my martial arts students have pointed out this lack of military training.
In fact, one of them said that basic training included about a day and a half of unarmed combat training. That was it!
Which Type of Military Training Do You Need?
Are you in the military and someone who needs a better training - a higher level of martial skill?
Or are you someone who wants the elite type of military training afforded to a country's finest and most promising individuals in the armed forces ?
If you are looking for some elite training, training that more than a few in the armed forces have ordered, read, and practiced, then I'd like to suggest you go to a different web site.
Start your journey with expert knife training. These are the exercises that will teach you to react automatically, efficiently, and without thought. You'll be amazed at your progress.

Problems with Military Training
To be frank with you, I get a lot of orders from people in the military. They are looking for a specific type of training. (Can you guess the most popular book among military novices?)
I am not sure why, but those in the armed forces are in special need of training in wrist locking and joint locking. Is this a need outside of their professional lives?
Are they getting into fights while off duty?
Or do they see a need for this skill with in their defined duties?
Either way, they don't seem to be receiving the training they need -- to the level they require.
The book they order from me is Wrist Locks: From Protecting Yourself to Becoming an Expert.
Can you guess which move they found most useful in their military training?
More than a few privates have written to me expressing appreciation for both arm bars and arm-bar reversals. (Of the three reversals, all seem to be equally popular.)
If you'd like to learn a military use for an arm bar, take a look at the following article -- Military Police Technique ......
Of all of the martial arts books written by Keith Pascal, Wrist Locks: From Protecting Yourself to Becoming an Expert is the book that martial artists enjoy working through the most.
