Category Winner: Best Security Guard Training Site with Firearms Training (3rd place)
This is another BSIS site, specific to California, but we felt it needed to be included on the Top 50 Security Guard Websites of 2012, because of its complete listing of training facilities where you can get GuardCard Certified.
We especially appreciate their listed curriculum. Their mandatory courses include lessons in reporting, terrorism, community and customer relations, and the power to arrest.
It’s a well-r0unded set of courses … they have five different mandatory components. The first last eight hours, the rest are four hours each.
And then you get into their elective classes … crowd control, chemical agents, handling difficult people, workplace violence, courtroom demeanor, radio procedures, traffic control, and a lot more. Wow.
You may even qualify for firearms use with this company.
In addition, if you have ever thought about transitioning into a private, high-level bodyguard, then your search should start here. (California residents.) You can even delve into concealed weapons and accompanying permits.
As of this writing, you can purchase your California Guard Card (directly from the site, I might add) for only $59. And they show how quick and easy it is to obtain. In some cases, you can pay now, and then walk right in the next day….
