Category Winner: Best Web Presence Security Guard Training Site (1st place)
This is possibly the security guard site with the most expansive web presence.
This security-guard site appeared in lots of searches. Lots of them. This means they definitely have all sorts of information: training, jobs, articles, contracts, services, and patrols. You have to see this one.
I started my search with the security guard articles (nav bar on the left). You’ll find that ALL of the articles are short and to the point, on purpose. You’ll find articles on finding a good security guard company, putting together a good resume, and they even provide a free, security-guard resumé template. (Thanks.)
And finally … if you sign up to their security guard newsletter (Free, of course), you get a free security guard ebook. This is what I would have expected from just about every security guard website … and was surprised to find it on Local Security Guard, and that’s just about it. (Note: Just take a look at the site you’re on, WristLocksExpert.com, and you’ll see that I highly approve of both offering a newsletter AND giving your subscribers something for free. Kudos to Local-Security-Guard.com.
While this site does offer subscriptions to RSS feeds ands social spreaders like Blogline and My Yahoo, I wish they had links to find them on Facebook and Twitter. You can spread the word on Facebook, but to get to their facebook page isn’t so easy.
Still, it’s a great site with plenty to offer. (Don’t let my facebook and Twitter biases influence you.)
Oh, and if you are looking for a free security guard training course, they have that too.
There is a reason that Local Security Guard is in the Top 3 of Top 50 Security Guard Training Websites of 2012. Congratulations.
