Martial Arts BLOGs
Always keep in mind that the majority of blog posts are subjective — you are reading the authors’ views on specific subjects. And since there are so many different “camps” in the field of martial arts, you are bound to read contradictory opinions.
My advice for you is to find a martial arts author who appeals to you. Maybe you have read his or her free ebooklets, articles, books, or ebooks. Find someone with a martial philosophy that makes sense to you. Then search to see if this author does any blogging.
It’s best when you can find the author’s own blog. This way, you can always come back to the same spot to read the latest and greatest opinion or “how-to.” Some martial-arts authors only post to martial-arts blogs owned by others. These aren’t quite as useful, because the writer is forced to conform to the guidelines and rules of others AND most likely is responding to threads started by other people.
Keith Pascal’s BLOGs
For example, while I do post for a group or two on Facebook, my primary posting is done on my own BLOGs. I have two (so far).
For more “lock” and “control” oriented articles, go to WristLocksExpert.com. You’ll find the blog on the main page or in the nav bar link labeled Make Wrist Locks Practical.
If you like jumping around to a variety of martially-related topics, then try the real Keith Pascal Blog, found on the main page of KerwinBenson.com.
Final Martial BLOG Comment
Your final martial-arts blog comment for the day is to … leave a comment.
When you find an article or post that strikes a chord, comment on it, if there is the option. First, the author will appreciate the kind words, and second, it helps the article gain popularity.
Also, if you have the opportunity, at the same time that you post a comment, do some social bookmarking, pinging, liking, plus-oneing, etc. Help out the author who is trying to provide useful self-defense information.
Thanks.
